    Six people, seated by age, language, interests and energy, then mixed up on purpose.

  3. You get the address

    Two days before, by email. The venue and the time. Not the guest list.

  4. You show up

    Sometimes dinner, sometimes drinks. No host, no name badges, no icebreaker games.

Questions people ask us

Do I need to know anyone to come?

No. Nobody knows anyone. That is the format. Everyone at your table booked alone and everyone walked in feeling the same way you do.

I am shy. Is this going to be painful?

Half of every table says the same thing before they arrive. Six people is small enough that nobody has to perform, and there are no games, no name badges and no going round the table introducing yourself. Some of our best guests barely talk for the first twenty minutes.

Is this a dating thing?

No. We seat tables for good conversation, not for chemistry, and we do not match anyone with anyone. People have met partners at our tables, the same way people meet partners at parties. That is not what we are building.

What does it cost, and what am I paying for?

You pay €5 to book your seat. That covers the matching, the reservation and the organising. Food and drinks you pay for yourself at the venue, straight to the restaurant, so you order what you feel like and stay in your own budget. We pick venues where you can eat well for a normal amount of money.

When do I find out where it is?

Two days before. You get the address and the time by email. You do not get the guest list. You find out who you are eating with when you sit down, and that is on purpose.

Can I bring a friend?

You can both come, and we will seat you at different tables. It is not us being difficult. The moment two people arrive together the table splits into a pair and four strangers, and the evening never quite recovers.

What if I need to cancel?

Tell us at least three days before and we will move you to another date or refund you. After that we have booked the table and built the group around you, so we cannot. If something happens on the day, call us on +371 25 741 869. We are people.

What if I get there first?

Ask to be seated and order a drink. People usually land within the first fifteen minutes. If nobody has arrived after half an hour, call us on +371 25 741 869 and we will sort it out.

Is it safe?

We host in real venues in the city centre, never in private homes, and someone from our team is reachable on +371 25 741 869 the whole evening. Everyone books under a real name. Disrespect towards anyone at the table ends that person's evening, and they are not invited back.

I don't drink.

Neither do plenty of our guests. Nobody counts what is in your glass.

What do you do with my information?

We use it to seat you well and to email you about your booking. We do not sell it, we do not show your profile to other guests, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
